LOCATION:

The wedding itself will be held at the Hotel Costa Verde in Manuel Antonio on October 10th, 2020. We’re anticipating the cocktail hour will start around 3:30 - 4:00pm. Reception will follow at the El Avion restaurant.

TRAVEL:

You will want to fly into San Jose (SJO). If you fly in late, we suggest staying at the Hotel’s sister B&B, Costa Verde Inn. It’s in a safe area, is so cute, and is super reasonably priced!

BOOKING:

To get 15% off your stay at Hotel Costa Verde, email Allan and tell him you are “friends and family” coming for Brooke and Eric’s wedding, and give him the dates and which room type you’d like. You’ll need to pay through PayPal to get the discount. If you need recommendations on which room type to choose, don’t hesitate to ask us! To book at the Costa Verde Inn B&B, email Leo and follow the same process for 10% off there.

GETTING AROUND:

You don’t have to have a car - there are cabs and busses all over, and the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to any of their restaurants. The beach is about a 10 minute walk, but coming back is ALL steeply uphill! If you do want to rent a car, I recommend Vamos, they’re honest, nice, and their prices are transparent. The insurances are kind of confusing - here’s some info that will help explain it all. We do usually bring a letter from our credit card company so the insurance is cheaper. You can also take a shuttle down to Manuel Antonio (a friend owns the service and it’s very safe!), or even hop on a tiny plane to get down there in 20 minutes! (The drive is beautiful and is about 3 hours.) You can fly to Quepos on Nature Air or Sansa airlines.
