What to wear on a plane to look cute and stay comfy!

I wear the same type of outfit whenever I travel.  It’s like my travel uniform.  It is tried and tested and has never failed me.  I like to feel like I’m in PJ’s when I travel, and I’m very climate sensitive so I need layers!  I love the extra long tank with side slits to give the look a bit of an edge. A hat is a godsend for plane hair!  I wear this outfit regardless of season…in the summer I stash the sweater in my bag, and in the winter I add a coat (and opt for a winter hat)!
Pick any pair of shoes off this list and you’ll be golden!

The Perfect Plane Outfit

Tank Top

I still want to appear a bit fashionable which is why I ADORE this extra-long, asymmetrical, side slit tank from Tobi!

Any black leggings will do, just make sure they have a super-comfy wide waistband for in-flight comfort like these from HUE.  If you want to glam it up a bit and aren’t going to a super warm location,  you can opt for the leather or suede look leggings like these here!

Cardigan Sweater

I can’t stand cardigans that don’t have pockets! Whether its for your phone or your boarding pass, you’ll be glad you have them! Love this extra long version from Nordstrom Rack!

I never EVER leave home without a scarf.  Not even in summer.  Planes are often freezing and a scarf just keeps you cuddled!  It can also double as a belt, swim cover up, fancy arm sling and even a shirt!  Pick a pop color or pattern to liven up your neutrals.

Packable Hat

I shouldn’t even have to mention that a hat is paramount to healthy skin – but it also hides plane hair and looks super stylish in pics! The best kind? A packable, squishable hat!

Pair this with the Tropical Essentials list and my capsule Vacay travel wardrobe and you will have an almost endless supply of outfits with 15 mix-and-match pieces!
